Huddersfield Town celebrated their 10th anniversary in their new Stadium with a party on their pitch, and announced that their Stadium is to be renamed the Glapharm Stadium, replacing Alfred McAlpine as their stadium sponsors.

Bradford City boss, Colin Todd, is confident that Bradford City can bounce back after recent disappointments. Not only is he confident that they can reclaim their place in The Championship, following relegation in their Centenary year. He is quoted as saying on BBC i: "It's a daunting challenge, but we can turn it around".

Franchise FC won a pre-season tournament (the Portimao Cup) in Portugal, beating Olhanense 4-3 on penalties, having been held 1-1 in open play.

Blackpool have agreed a 3-month loan deal with Birmingham City for Andrew Barrowman.

Doncaster Rovers have signed 26-year old ex-Torquay keeper Stuart Jones for one season, having impressed during a recent trial period.

Barnsley boss, Paul Hart, felt that they had a good test against Leicester City (Barnsley won 2-1), he is quoted on BBC i as saying: "It was a good test for both sides, and a physical one for us."
