Blackpool's on loan signing, Scott Vernon, reckons that the seasiders can turn things round at Bloomfield Road saying that "One thing I have noticed is that spirits are high, there are some decent players here. We want to win every game. I am sure when we get the first win we will kick on".

Former Bradford City favourite, Jamie Lawrence, could be returning to Valley Parade from Walsall.

They may have swopped for Warren Feeney, and paid a miserly £45k, but Stockport County's Sammy McIlroy has admitted that "This is the hardest situation I've ever been in, including my time with Northern Ireland", floowing their dreadful start to the season.

Last seasons player of the season at Hull City, Damien Delaney, is to have surgery on a cartilage problem.

Swindon Town are rueing the lack of reserve matches in the coming weeks as they attempt to get players back to match fitness again. One player facing that problem is Matt Heywood who is returning from injury, citing that the reserve match against Bournemouth was their last for 6 weeks!

Oldham Athletic will be without their midfielder Mark Bonner for 3 weeks. He's picked up a hamstring injury during the 3-2 win against Hartlepool United at the weekend.
