Leyton Orient Reaction - Cherries

Harry Arter admited after the 2-2 draw at Brisbane Road that the players must shoulder the blme for letting a 2-goal lead slip, being quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "We played brilliantly. But we find ourselves going over the same things, especially away from home, because we keep chucking away silly goals when we’re dominating games. It’s starting to get on the manager’s nerves and rightly so. It was obvious why he was so disappointed and, in a way, he didn’t really need to tell us what was wrong because we all knew. He is in his full right to have a go at us because it has happened too many times now. It is totally down to us and we know that. If it had happened once, we could say it was a one-off. But, as a group, we realise it has happened too many times and we need to learn from it sooner rather than later because it is getting really frustrating. I don’t know whether it’s a lack of concentration or a lack of belief. When a team scores one, we get nervous and we allowed Orient to nick a second. Even when they got their first goal, I didn’t think they would go on to get a second and was confident we could shut them out. To concede two sloppy goals in the last 10 minutes was very disappointing".
