Leyton Orient Reaction - The O's

Leyton Orient boss was not a happy man having seen his side slump to a 3-1 defeat at Dean Court on Boxing Day. Martin Ling was quoted in their local paper as saying: "All three goals were gifts, one from Daniels, one from Saah and one from Nelson. I spoke to Stuart straight away after the game and told him that is the first and last time he will be going forward for a corner. Never in the four and a half years that I've been in charge of this club has a keeper gone forward at a corner and that will certainly be the last time. There was still four minutes of stoppage time left and we may have been able to get something from the game, but not once they got a third like that. You certainly can't afford three individual errors like we had today, even if the team you are playing are at the bottom of the table. We were the second best team out there today and I thought they looked more determined than us".

Ex Cherry, Stephen Purches, was quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "It was disappointing to lose but Bournemouth did well and deserved it. They put away their chances and we gifted them a couple of goals. It was one of those days. I thought Gareth Stewart made a couple of tremendous saves when it was still 0-0 and I don't know how he managed to claw one from Jabo (Ibehre) out of the top corner. I don't see why they can't go on a run. It happened during the second half of the season last year and beating us will give them a bit of belief going into the new year".
