Speaking after the match, caretaker boss Simon Clark was quoted after the match as saying: "When you come to Bournemouth you know what you're going to get and we talked all week about handling Fletcher and the way they play off him, but we didn't handle the situation at all. Our Hungarian defender Janos Kovacs has done well this season, but came up against a good target man who's a real handful at this level. Janos competed with Fletcher, but they always had half a yard on us to get to the second ball".
