Having been allowed to make an emergency goal keeping signing in the shape of Cardiff City's David Forde on a 7-day deal, manager Kevin Bond is hoping that he is going to be able to re-sign Forde for a futher loan period.

Bond is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "David has joined in with the spirit of the club and integrated really well. He's put his neck on the block because he has joined a club in trouble and he wants to try to help us get out of it if he can. Without sounding disrespectful to Fordy, if I could get Harry to lend me David James to come in goal for me I would but that's just not going to happen. We need to be thankful we've got Fordy, who is a very good goalkeeper".
