Loan Trio To Return?

Manager Kevin Bond has registered his interest in signing Jack Cork (Chelsea), David McGoldrick (Southampton) and Marc Wilson (Portsmouth) in extended loan deals which could last at least half a season.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo he is quoted as saying: "I would definitely take all three of them back in a second if I could and have expressed my interest to their respective clubs. They all did very well for us last season and I am sure there will be other clubs in the equation as well so we are in a wait-and-see situation. If I could get loan players in for half-a-season or a season, I would do it now but it's not going to happen like that because their clubs will want to have a look at them when they come back for pre-season. Most loan players we take will come from a club at a higher level and, more often than not, they will be younger players. It's understandable that their clubs will want to see how they have developed over the summer and to have a good look at their squad before they make any decisions. You tend to find that most loan deals are completed nearer the start of the season so, like most other managers in my position, I will have to wait".
