The most notable returning player is Wes Thomas who has returned from Blackpool, even though the Tangerines tabled a request to extend the loan for a further period rejected.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo about Thomas, manager Eddie Howe is quoted as saying: "I will sit down with Wes and have a chat about how he feels. I will also convey our feelings as a football club and what we think and we will take it from there. We have to do what is best for this club. Wes has only got 18 months left on his contract so decisions will have to be made. We will sit down with Wes and see which way he wants to go. I am sure there would have been a lot of other Championships clubs that would have looked at him. We very much need to see where he is and where he wants to be and then take it from there".

Also returning are Mark Molesley (from Plymouth Argyle), Josh Wakefield (from Dagenham & Redbridge) and Aristide Bassele (from Lincoln City). Jon Meades looks certain to remain at AFC Wimbledon.
