Sean O'Driscoll described his side as "magnificent" and a "different class", and went on to say that "we were playing the best side I have seen this season and I thought we were magnificent .... I would have settled for 0-0, a clean sheet and a point away from home with the side we had to put out and if the free kick (by Brian Stock) had gone in then it would have been interesting. But credit to Luton, they kept going and are a side full of confidence and on a roll. If you believe you are going to win then nine times out of 10, you do."

Neil Moss produced a number of first class saves to keep Luton at bay went on to say: "We defended very well. They are a physical side and probably the best team in the division".

From a Luton Town perspective, Mike Newell was quoted in the post match press conference as saying that: "This run is no fluke. The lads deserve a lot of praise for the hard work they have shown. Wins will get harder and harder from now on but if we can maintain the right attitude we can continue to put in the right results. We are delighted with the three points. We had to be patient because Bournemouth are a good footballing side but that gave us the chance to get the ball down as well and play a bit of football. It is a credit to the players that they kept their discipline and patience and were able to get the result. I know Bournemouth had a few missing today and they play the game the right way and were a little bit nervous about them because they are capable of hurting sides away from home".
