Luton Town Reaction

Speaking on BBC Radio Solent after the match, manager Sean O'Driscoll is quoted as saying: "I didn't think either side deserved to win it, but neither side deserved to lose it. Set plays were always going to be a problem, whether they had 11 or 10 men - that's why we brought everyone back. I thought we were the better side in the first half - it was up to us to break them down, but they showed just what a good side they are".

For Luton Town, their manager, Mike Newell is quoted on BBCi as saying: "We want to win the championship - that's what we're after - and if we keep playing like that, we'll have a chance .... I'm proud of them, as they gave us everything. We were down to 10 men for over an hour, which made it difficult for us but we deserved the win. I don't believe it was a sending-off as he (Perrett) had his eye on the ball, but he missed the ball and the lad (James Hayter) fell over him. In the last three times we've had that referee (Trevor Parkes), he's sent a player off every time".

On our chances of making the play-offs, Newell went on to say: "I think Bournemouth will make the play-offs as they're the best footballing side we've played, home or away - I saw them at Bristol City last week and they were a cut above City, although I don't know what's causing them problems at home".
