Luton Town Reaction - Cherries

Manager Eddie Howe is quoted on the Clubs Official Web Site as saying: "Both sides needed to win and both sides went all out to win it and that made for a good spectacle. I'm disappointed because we were desperate for the three points, but a draw was a fair result. I thought Luton were a decent side with some good front players who caused us problems. But I was disappointed that we didn't get the ball wide as well as we can do. It was a poor goal to concede, but I was pleased with the way we responded to that again. I was confident that we could go out in the second half and win the game because we had the wind with us, but it never really broke for us in and around the box. It's two games unbeaten and I said that to the boys at the end. They were all disappointed that we haven't won, but we have something to take in to the two away games now. We have just played two very good sides and got four points, and before the games, you would have taken that. But with the result and the performance against Wycombe, I was really disappointed with the Luton result. They are difficult to play against with their formation but I still felt that we could have won it in the second half, but credit to Luton because they defended very well".
