Macclesfield Reaction - Silkmen

The Macclesfield manager, Keith Alexander, who was sent to the stands during the match at Dean Court, was left  fuming at the end of the match when Alan Connell equalised to salvage a point for the Cherries.

Alexander was quoted after the match as saying: "It was an absolute joke, everyone in the ground saw that it was a push but somehow the referee didn't see it from four yards away and then he sent me to the stand when I questioned it. To be honest it looked like a free-kick from where we were but Alan is adamant he did not push him. It was our fault that we haven't won because we had the chances to make the game safe. We have been playing well all season but at times we haven't got the luck we probably deserve".
