Having had almost 2 months out due to injury, Scott Malone is closing in a place in the starting 11 for the Cherries and is aiming to resume where he left off ......... causing havoc down the left hand side.
Malone is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "It is just a case of doing what I was doing. If I come back and don’t perform as I was, then everyone will say ‘Is he fit?’ or ‘What is wrong with him?’ “I have set the standards for myself now so if I slip below that, then I am bound to come in for a bit of criticism. There are four or five players that can play in the two positions, so I think you have got to perform day in, day out. If the gaffer doesn’t put me back in tonight, then I will work hard for the rest of the week".
