MATTY SIGNS FOR CHARLTON

Last updated : 17 June 2003 By Mike Robins
Just 12 short months after a possible £4m deal to move to Aston Villa fell through, Matty Holland has moved for a cut price £750k after the move to Portsmouth fell through.

The deal means that Ipsich do not make any profit from the deal, which in turn means that AFC Bournemouth do not gain anything from the 25% sell on clause.

It is possible, that we could net a mere £25k, if the deal become worth £900k, which could happen if Charlton remain in the Premiership for the next 3 seasons!! Basically £50k per year!!
