After much speculation about the future of matty Holland, and various big money deals to tempt him away from Portman Road, it seems that the latest deal, a £4m move to Aston Villa, has been rejected even though the Clubs agreed a fee.
The stumbling block was over personal terms which the Midland giants were not going to succumb to. As a result the deal fell through and Matty remains in Suffolk.
The collapse also means that AFC Bournemouth miss out on a mouth watering £925,000 which would have been a huge boost as CherryShare gets in to full swing - the Clubs attempt to prevent the Sale and Lease going ahead.
Is Matty going to be our new Jamie Redknapp - always nearly going, but never actually going (for any money at least)?
