McGoldrick Deal Unlikely

Speaking to the Dorset Echo, manager Kevin Bond is quoted as saying: "I would like it to be a possibility, but I'm not sure either David or Southampton will think the same. I would love to have him next season, but I can't see it happening. David is at a Championship club and wants to play for them at that level and that's what I want for him as well. But if that doesn't happen, for whatever reason, then we would be only too pleased to have his services because he can make a big difference. In tight games, you always need somebody who can do something like he can. He's a little bit different and a little bit special and he's won us a few points with his goals. You've only got to look at his goal against Rotherham. It was terrific and that's David McGoldrick all over. He can score goals out of nothing and I thought he was always a threat".
