McQuoid Gets International Call Up

Josh McQuoid was unexpectedly called up to play for Northern Ireland B to face Scotland during the week, having started against Morecambe a few days before.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, McQuoid is quoted as saying: "To be honest, I didn't expect to start against Scotland and was surprised and delighted when I found out I would be. I played on the right wing and had a couple of good runs before my back started to stiffen up. I was disappointed to come off but it was a great experience. Hopefully, I'll be okay for next season. It's going to be a case of taking my chance when I get it. I didn't feel I got into the Morecambe game enough but it was good to get a game. I've haven't played much since Eddie came so I was grateful to him for giving me a chance".
