Manager Eddie Howe was in no doubt as to the inspiration which led to the win - the Cherries support - as the Dean Court side came back to claim a fine 5-2 win over Millwall.

Speaking on BBC Radio Solent after the match, Howe was quoted as saying about the match having conceeded two early goals: "The pleasing thing, from my perspective, was that any negativity towards the players at that stage of the game would have served no purpose, but just make us lose our way even further. The support the crowd gave the players enabled us to get a foothold in the game and that was really the springboard for the second half performance. We grew in confidence, we played some great football, scored some really good goals and we showed we are a team that can cause teams problems at this level".
