In describing the defeat as 'hugely disappointing', Kevin Bond went on to say: "One or two of them didn't do enough, and one or two aren't ready for it. We're finding it difficult not to concede goals, and we're struggling to put the ball in the net. But look at Darren Anderton. He's 35, but he kept going, didn't give the ball away and was a great example. I forgive anyone for anything if they show that".
