Cherries Chairman, Eddie Mitchell, has issued a thank you to all those who helped bring Rhoys Wiggins to Dean Court, being quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "The club raised the money to get him signed and we got some good terms with Norwich. It was a great coup for us. It was a joint effort between ourselves, the vice-presidents and other supporters and everybody contributed towards getting the funds to do it. It was also testament to the negotiating skills of Eddie and Jason. The board had an input, the supporters bought season tickets and a number of vice-presidents took up lifetime packages. All these factors helped us to sign Rhoys. It was a joint effort and was not down to any one individual. The lifetime packages have been a great help and have brought in extra revenue. We offered vice-presidents a ticket for life and they went down very well. We sold around 50 and there is still room for another 50. Season ticket sales have been excellent, while takings in the club shop since we brought in new stock have been fantastic".

Mitchell also confirmed that the Club is fast approaching their target of selling 3000 season tickets for the new season.
