Molesley Close To Cherries Return

Having suffered a long term injury to his foot, which needed an operation and pain staking physio, Mark Molesley is close to returning to action once again.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, the popular midfielder is quoted as saying: "We’re just taking each day as it comes and, if I can get half an hour in that game, then that would be brilliant. If I can’t, it’s not the end of the world. I’d just have to be a bit more patient. It’s great, even though I’ve yet to properly join in with the lads. Just being outside on the training pitch, doing the running and getting around it, you feel you’re getting a little bit closer. It’s been quite a lonely world being injured quite a lot of the time, but I just can’t wait to get back out there really. Steve Hard, the physio, has been great with me, as have Eddie and the boys. They’ve always been really supportive but it’s been very mentally tough, I must admit. It’s been hard. I’m surprised they even still remember me, but I’m absolutely taken aback by the support that I get. When I’m at the home games, just walking in and around the ground, everyone is so kind. They have been so supportive and so kind and there have been so many great words that people say to me just in passing".
