Molesley Goes On - Inspite Of Op

An operation will be required on his left foot, but in the meantime he will carry on, giving Howe's beleagured squad a much needed boost.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Molesley is quoted as saying: "I think if other players had been fit, I wouldn't have started but I said I was well enough to train last week and I was happy to start. I felt it at the end of the game and started to cramp up, but I think I put in a good shift and that was all I could do really. It's difficult, because I am going to have to have it operated on eventually. It's a case of how much I can get through with it like it is at the moment. I'm taking it each day as it comes, but I think I'm going to need some of the bone shaved off and cleaned up. I had an injection and that seems to have kept it at bay a bit. But I'm just trying to get as many games in as I can and hopefully it might be okay until the end of the season. I'm just hoping the foot will hold up okay until some of the other players come back and then we can review the situation".
