At the annual awards dinner, held by the League Managers Association, our very own Eddie Howe was not only named as the Championship Manager of the Year, but also THE manager of the year to be only the second man to take the award from outside the top division since 1992.

Speaking on the Clubs Official Web Site, Howe was quoted as saying on the award: "I can't believe it. I'm so surprised and so grateful. You need good people around you so I'm grateful to my staff. A lot had come with us on our journey from the lower leagues and we managed to get there. It's more special because it is a club where I've spent most of my career."

Added to this accoladde, Howe was also named manager of the decade at a Football League awards ceremony, even though he's only been a manager for just over 6 years!!
