More Players Sign

Two more players have committed themselves to AFC Bournemouth.

Karl Broadhurst was the first to sign yesterday (10/6/04) saying that "I’m very pleased to have the new contract done and dusted. It’s been going on for a while now, but the bulk of the squad have now signed and things are looking good for next season" (full quote on the Official Web Site).

This was swiftly followed by Stephen Purches who signed a one year deal saying that "it would have taken something extra special to have taken me away from Bournemouth" (full quote on the Official Web Site).

This leaves just Shaun Maher and Steve Fletcher to sign new deals.

On the other player out of contract this Summer, well it seems almost certain that Warren Feeney will sign for Stockport County after he rejected the final contract offer made by AFC Bournemouth. Additionally with AFCB rejecting the offer made by Stockport County, it also seems likely that the matter will be settled by tribunal.
