After just 20 minutes of the reserve match at Ashton Gate, Neil Moss was forced to leave the field following an ankle ligament injury. Assistant boss, Richard O'Kelly is quoted on the Clubs Official Web Site as saying that: "The medical staff at City were first class. We couldn't have asked of anything more from them in the way they looked after Neil. They were diligent, professional and a credit to their club".

The full extent of the injury is now known. Youth team keeper, James Rae, replaced Moss when he was taken off.

The game finished 2-2, with Brett Pitman scoring both goals.
