Speaking at press conference at which the Administration was announced, Mostyn is quoted as saying: "I'm not delighted that I got involved with the football club. I'm quite an emotive person and I put my heart and soul into whatever I do and I don't think in any way that I've let anybody down - the football club, the supporters, the staff or the players - quite the contrary. I'm extremely proud of what I've actually achieved. Where I sit at the moment, I haven't finished what I started out to finish. So if I can help put something into place, which I've been working non-stop over the last few months and things may well be coming to a head, then that's something I'll feel extremely proud of. I could've walked away from this football club when I met Gerald (Krasner) earlier in the week and said enough's enough - that's not my style. I'm quite happy and proud of the fact I've been able to provide sufficient funds to give this football club a lifeline and a way forward."
