Mostyn Walks?

In an interview with the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Jeff Mostyn cites his family as being the reason behind withdrawing his bid for the Football Club. Mostyn is quoted as saying: "What I had to do this morning was make a decision on whether to fund the bid myself and then continue the talks with this partner, which would have put me in a strong position because nobody else could have made a bid, or to stick with the decision I made with my wife when I left home this morning. That was that I wasn't going to complete my bid. Despite having a change of heart at 11.29am, you've even-tually got to draw a line and for the first time in 18 months, I've used my head rather than my heart. My wife and daughter and my sons are fantastic supporters of both me and the football club. My wife and youngest daughter come to all the home games. They've seen how it's affected me and my health. I just feel like I've been completely worn down to the ground. I've got mixed emotions, having made the decision not to pursue the bid. I had until 11.30am, until the start of the news conference yesterday, and it's partly a sense of relief. But it's also immense disappointment and an all-time low for me. I'll miss everyone at the club if I do walk away, but what I won't miss is the amazing amount of criticism you get from people who don't really know what is going on behind the scenes. They will say the reason they don't know is because I don't tell them, but unless you actually put your hand in your pocket, nobody will ever really know".
