My Mind Was Set On Coming Here - Wiggins

With two very successful loan spells at Dean Court, Rhoys Wiggins has landed his dream move to the sunny south coast to play for AFC Bournemouth.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Wiggins is quoted as saying: "My mind was set on coming here. I get on really well with Eddie and Jason and they have done nothing but good things for me. I can’t speak highly enough of them and the players and was desperate to come here. The other clubs had nothing on Bournemouth for me. I’m just glad it’s done now and I know Eddie has made a few signings this summer. It’s looking good for the club and everyone is looking forward to a good season. It’s going to be a tough year but, hopefully, we can kick on. We’ve got great team spirit and you never know where that could take you. There are some big clubs in League One but you can beat anyone on your day. There are definitely teams we are more than capable of beating".
