Need More Goals

With Brett Pitman head and shoulders the Cherries leading goal scorer, Steve Fletcher calls on the rest of the team to add to the tally of goals scored from elsewhere on the pitch.

The Cherries legend is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "We can’t rely on Brett all season. Even if he has a wondrous season and scores 25 or 30 goals, you can’t just rely on that. There has got to be some goals coming from other areas. It doesn’t matter what level you’re playing at, if you’re going to be successful and you want to go up, which we do and we want to be in the top few teams, we’ve got to have other people scoring than just Brett Pitman. Saturday was nice because it happened for a change. If you’ve got your midfield boys banging in a few and not just your main striker scoring, you’ve got half a chance".
