Need To Bury Chances

With the goal gapping, Dan Gosling managed to spurn a great chance to give the Cherries the lead in their opening Premier League fixture. The midfielder was quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I saw the keeper had already moved and in hindsight I really just needed to get it on target and it would probably have gone in. Although the ball was slightly behind me, I still should have done better. Eight or nine times out of 10 I’d like to think I would score. When I get in those positions, I need to make sure I put those chances away. It was frustrating to lose to a set-piece which was pretty much all they had".
