It is being reported that AFC Bournemouth could be on the verge of making their first signings of the summer.
The Club have, it seems, submitted an improved offer for AFC Wimbledon's Steven Gregory, plus made an offer to a Championship club for an un-named player. The rumour mill is suggesting that the un-named player is Adam Barrett from Crystal Palace.
On Gregory, manager Lee Bradbury is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I have spoken to a lot of people I respect on the non-league circuit, and in League Two, and everyone has got nothing but good things to say about him. I think he has got interest from other clubs as well so we are looking to secure his services as soon as possible before those other clubs try to snatch him".
On the un-named Championship player, it is believed that a fee has been agreed with his current club.
