He might not have any previous managerial experience, but Eddie Howe takes up a new challenge as manager of the reserves. Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Howe is quoted as saying: "I'm sure I'll get better as I get more experienced. I'm confident in my own ability and I'm looking forward to what is a new challenge for me. I've never managed a team but I've been thinking about it a lot and the players know what they're doing. If all else fails, I'll just point and wave my arms at the right time, but I won't be throwing tea cups at half-time!"
