New Fanzine to hit Dean Court

Last updated : 16 December 2002 By Andy Burton
Having developed the new fanzine for the last 2 months, editors Vinny Goodfield, Terry Sowle and Justin Loader are launching the first new fanzine to hit Dean Court since the re-launch of NT8502 as Community Service.

The new 'zine "The 0844 To Waterloo" is a good read and is 40 pages (at £1-50). In the first edition there is:
a cracking interview with Alan Connell,
memories from AFCB going back to the 60's,
picture gags,
true stories involving AFCB players,
stories of classic away trips with England and AFCB,
a diary of the season plus lots lots more in the way of humour and opinions.

Any profits we make will of course go back to the club, and Peter Phillips has already agreed to our first suggestion for sponsorship.

The new 'zine will be available from numerous places:
in the Queens Park Pub before the game on Saturday,
around the ground (outside the North Stand and the corner of the North Stand and the Main Stand)
and of course in the ScoreStore (also known as the club shop).

If you have any articles please contact the editor team at: the0844towaterloo@hotmail.com and the team will gladly hold a copy back for you.

Please send us a cheque made payable to 'V Goodfield' for £2 if in the UK, or £2.50 elsewhere (incl of postage) to the following address: 'the 0844 to waterloo', 26 New Windsor Street, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB8 2TX.
