New Interest in AFC Bournemouth

Paul Baker has confirmed that there are parties interested in investing money at Dean Court - under the right conditions.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Bakeris quoted as saying: "There are several parties now that have come to the table and we will take each of them on their own merit. Like I've said from day one, investment will only be taken under the right conditions. We haven't sat down with any of these new potential investors as of yet, but we wouldn't exclude anyone. We just need to know what their interest is and if it is beneficial to the club. There are other interested parties who we have already sat down with, but these ones are fresh within the last 72 hours".

One of those interested would appear to be Alan Pither, who tried to buy the Club earlier in the year. Pither is quoted as saying: "I'm still interested in the land - I won't lie about that. We were going to plough most of the land money back into the club before and instead of losing £200,000 from my pocket during the first and second years, that was going to be generated from the developments".
