New Signings In The Pipeline?

With the January transfer window almost upon us, there is speculation that new faces could be making an appearance at Dean Court in the near future.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Cherries Chairman Paul Baker is quoted as saying: "I've spoken to Jimmy and Ted (Sutton, director of football operations) and they've come forward with names who are potential targets. But I think we need to do a full analysis of the squad. Hopefully within the next 24 to 48 hours some decisions will be made and we can start the ball rolling on restructuring the squad. I've been speaking to Savi (Alastair Saverimutto, chief executive) and Adam (Murry, director). Sometimes after a performance like Sunday's it's best to give people time to reflect on what they saw happening at the game. There's a budget that we're working to. The budget is set by the Football League and that's what we're working within the confinements of. As long as everything is rubber stamped by the Football League, we can work comfortably within that budget".
