No Excuses - But Not Panic

With the new season fast approaching a third of the way through, Cherries legend, Steve Fletcher insists that there are no excuses, but no reason to panic with the club in the drop zone.

Big Fletch insisting in the Bournemouth Evening Echo that: "I believe we are a better team than our position at the moment would suggest. But we are not going to make any excuses and we are where we are. Nobody likes looking at the league table and seeing us in the wrong half. Our away form has left us in a better position than we could be in and we need to start winning at home to turn things around. We are missing a couple of players through injury and maybe could do with a couple more signings. I still think we can be a force to be reckoned with in this league and two or three wins can turn our season. But we need to do it sooner rather than later. It is too early to press the panic button but it is never too early to address things. As players and managers, we are working on things every day and trying to put them right. We are doing everything in our power to get out of the sticky situation we find ourselves in".
