No Margin For Error

WIth just five matches left to a remarkable season, the Cherries find themselves a position most wouldn't have dreamed off a few short weeks ago - just 3 places and 2 points shy of a play off place in our first season back at this level for a generation. But that is the reality of the Cherries season with a handful of matches left.

Defender Steve Cook goes on record in the Bournemouth Evening Echo saying that the Cherries cannot afford any slips in the final straight if they want to make the end of season shake up to go up to the Premiership via the play-offs, being quoted as saying: "To be honest, no one has mentioned that run. We have been talking more about the dip in form we had this season and what we have done to move on from it. We bounced back quickly last season and have done the same again in the Championship which shows just how far we have come. But one result can change your season and that’s the way it is looking for us at the moment. We can’t afford to drop points if we want to make the play-offs and these are the games you look at and like to think you can win. Yeovil are fighting for their lives and tend to pick up results you wouldn’t expect from them so they are a danger, but we have learned a lot from past defeats and we are going there full of confidence".
