Having made such a good start in caretaker charge of the Cherries first team, Eddie Mitchell has confirmed that Lee Bradbury and Steve Fletcher are the main contenders to fill the boots vacated by Howe and Tindall.
Quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Mitchell states: "We couldn’t have wished for a better day. It certainly hasn’t done them any harm, let’s put it that way. As it is at the moment, they are doing a great job and have got to be the main contenders. We’re not going to rush into anything. But, certainly, with the way the boys are playing and the way they are being managed, we couldn’t ask for anything better. Bradders was there at 9am on Saturday. That’s the type of thing I’m looking for – hard work and enjoyment. What a club to be in charge of. At the moment, it is unbelievable and we are a fantastic team".
