No Regrets - MacDonald

Last updated : 30 December 2011 By Bournemouth Co-Ordinator

It will be an interesting afternoon for Shaun MacDonald as he returns to Huish Park for the first time since joining AFC Bournemouth, having spent no less than 5 spells on loan with the Somerset outfit - including a last gasp equaliser for the Glovers that denied the Cherries their first ever win at Huish Park!

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, MacDonald is quoted as saying: "They were definitely interested in taking me back on loan but I am not sure whether it would have been a permanent deal. But I have no regrets about coming here. I have been welcomed, I am very thankful for that and, hopefully now, I can get going, play a lot of games and prove to people how good I am. Terry Skiverton was brilliant and played me in every game. It will be brilliant to see everyone there. I am really excited and I am going there to win. I am thankful for everything they did for me. But football is about going out and doing what is best for the team you play for, and that is Bournemouth. I want to go there and do really well".
