No Target For Howe

With the new season now under way, manager Eddie Howe has been eagerly looking forward to the new campaign, with some tough opening matches, buting quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "We’re not setting ourselves any targets, as such. We’re just going to concentrate on the first few games and see where they take us. We want to have a good season and we want to achieve similar things to last season. Whether or not that is going to be possible, only time will tell. But we go into the season in a positive frame of mind and are looking forward to the challenge. The lads have trained hard and have done very well in the pre-season games. They look very fit and everything is positive on that side of things. There is a buzz around and there is also the expectation that comes with the first game. We are going into a more difficult league, a league full of top teams, so it will be harder for us this season and our start reflects that. We probably couldn’t have asked for a tougher start but, in some senses, that can be a good thing. I know I can’t wait and the players are the same".
