Noone As Good As Jalal - Mossy

By Bournemouth Co-Ordinator
Saturday, 13th March 2010
Cherries goal keeping legend, Neil Moss Moss Moss rates Shwan Jalal as one of the best keepers in League Two.

Shwan JalalNeil Moss, the Cherries goal keeping coach, rates his successor between the posts as one of the best keepers in League Two, being quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "Rating him against other goalkeepers, there’s no keeper in our division that I’ve seen that is as good as Jal. Going back through my career – apart from the top Premier League keepers who have got international experience – there are not that many you’d put above Jal. He’s 26 and I felt at my best the year before I got injured. At 30, I felt really good about my game, so there was probably a chance I would have gone on to improve from that age. If he keeps fit, strong and clear of injuries, there is no reason why he can’t play for another 12 or 13 years. You can more than make up for the fact it is physically harder with experience. This is the first time in his career he’s been really settled at a club. He has signed a good contract, played a year of solid football and the more he plays, the better he’ll get. I think we can all look forward to seeing Jal go on and become a real force in goalkeeping, then the only problem will be keeping hold of him".
