Speaking in the
Bournemouth Evening Echo, manager Kevin Bond is quoted as saying: "
Under the circumstances, I thought we played very well. I'm disappointed that we ended up drawing after going in front but I can't be disappointed with the performance and application. The result and the injuries were the only disappointments. I can't criticise the players. I thought they competed and tried to play when they could. We created a number of chances but it just wasn't our day".
On the injuries to Russell Perrett, Warren Cummings and Ryan Garry, Bond joked that: "
I might have to call on Rob (Newman)".
