Not going on the Exiles Weekend in Carlisle, but want to go to the match - read on

As announced last week, the direct train to Carlisle had to be cancelled after the rail company moved our departure time forward from 7am to 4am.

As the journey by road will be the longest of the season, and it has not been possible to charter a plane at a reasonable cost, arrangements have been made with Virgin Trains to enable supporters to take the 0830 London to Carlisle train at a considerable saving on the standard fare.

Fans will set off from Dean Court at 5:45am to join up with the London Euston to Carlisle train, getting in to Carlisle at 1:49pm. The train can also be picked up at Watford Junction. The return train leaves Carlisle at 6:09pm with arrival scheduled at Dean Court for 12:45am. Full buffet facilities will be available on the trains.

We have kept the standard prices the same as before at £49 for adults and £35 for under 16s. There is also a First Class option priced at £85. For supporters based around the London area, train-only tickets are available at £40 for adults, £25 for Under 16s and £75 First Class.

Bookings and payment for the train must be received by no later than 12:00 noon on Monday 28th April. To book, please phone Roger Hawkins on 01202 726317.

The AFCB Travel Club are also running executive coaches from Dean Court to Carlisle priced £29 for travel club members or £35 for non-members. Contact Neil Vatcher on 01202 726304 or 729510 to book.
