O'Driscoll Disappointment/Maher Regrets Red Card

Speaking on BBCi, manager Sean O'Driscoll is quoted as saying: "I back my players 100% if they are doing the right things, but Shaun let everybody down .... We'll now miss him for three games when we've only eight matches left".

He is also quoted as saying that as we're one more defender down, that Eddie Howe and Karl Broadhurst might be drafted back in to the side earlier than they might have liked.

As for the man himself, Shaun Maher is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "It was a stupid thing to do. I have let the team down and I have apologised, but, unfortunately, I can't turn the clock back. I thought the referee was poor, and, two minutes earlier, Fagan made absolutely no attempt for the ball on the far side to where the incident happened and I've got a mark across my ankle from that".

Additionally, the Club is hoping to extend the loan periods for James O'Connor (from Aston Villa) and Matthew Mills (from Southampton).

Fingers crossed!
