A one-month loan deal, with a view to a possible permanent move is on the cards for keeper Shwan Jalal, who originally hails from Baghdad.

Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Kevin Bond is quoted as saying: "I don't think he's done anything wrong since he's been here. I've been really pleased with his attitude and how he's approached everything. He genuinely wants to be here, which is what you want to hear. He wants to be playing first-team football and doesn't want to be second choice anywhere. He's impressed me in training and in games. He's agreed to come on a month's loan and I would like to think we might be able to do something a bit more permanent at some stage".
