One In - Two Out

With the 'emergency' loan window closing on Thursday afternoon, AFC Bournemouth have been involved on deadline day.

Coming in to Dean Court, from Burnley, is Zavon Hines. Hines is a 23-year old striker, who is a product of the academy at West Ham United.

Speaking on the Clubs Official Web Site, Hines is quoted as saying about the move south: "I think this is a positive move for me. I have heard a lot about the club and hopefully I can help the club while I'm here. I'm a hard worker. I just want to do well for the club and myself and see where it takes us. Everyone at Burnley said that this was a good move for me and I didn't hesitate in joining. It's been frustrating for me there. I've played a few games but not enough, I just want to play football and I'm happy to be at Bournemouth".

Meanwhile, two players depart Dean Court (on loan). Steve Fletcher is, perhaps, the biggest surprise, as he's been shipped off to Plymouth Argyle as they bid to beat the drop out of the Football League. Big Fletch joins manager Baby Fletch at Home Park, being quoted on the Clubs Official Web Site as saying: "Me and Carl are good friends and go back years. He's been in touch and trying to get me to Plymouth for a short period of time, it had come to deadline day and I needed to make a decision. After speaking to Lee (Bradbury) and Eddie (Mitchell) we decided that it was the best thing for me. I want to play games, and hopefully I can go there, help Carl out and help Plymouth avoid the drop. It's the only club I would contemplate going to because Carl is a close friend, if it hadn't been him I wouldn't have even thought about it. It's the first time I've been on loan in my 24 year career, and I would be lying if I was saying I wasn't a bit nervous. Everyone knows I love Bournemouth. If you speak to anyone who knows me or a friend of mine they will tell you that I never want to leave".

The other departure sees Mark Molesley head to north Hampshire to join Aldershot Town. On his move Molesley is quoted as saying: "The move will give me the chance to go out and get some games and match fitness. The reserve team games have been few and far between, and then seem to come along when I've had set-backs. I'm desperate to get back to my best and offer something for Bournemouth. Hopefully with a run of games I will be in a better position, and come next season everything will be how I want it to be. I've got another year on my contract and I've loved my time here. I'm just frustrated at the moment and want to get back to doing what I do best. I'm really pleased with the opportunity to go back to Aldershot. They gave me my first start in professional football and have a big place in my heart".
