AFC Bournemouth have announced that an open top bus tour of the town is planned for Sunday 28th, April to mark the sides promotion to the Championship.
Should everything go in the Cherries favour, the League One trophy will be presented on the pitch at midday on Sunday. Merseyside Police have vetoed the presentation of the trophy at Prenton Park.

Although an open top bus tour, and potential Trophy presentation is good news, it is also disappointing as many supporters who would like to see the Trophy presented, having been there all season home and away, will be celebrating promotion in the Chester/Liverpool areas so will miss out!
