Parkcrest Statement

The statements reads:
While it has been widely reported that Alan Pither has "secured deals" to purchase the land behind the East Stand at AFC Bournemouth's stadium and the option for an hotel development and new stand at the South Stand end, Parkcrest would like to state that nothing has been concluded as of this morning.

I can confirm that an offer was made last week and that the stated intention was to exchange last Friday. Lawyers on both sides were instructed, but at close of business yesterday, the exchange had not taken place.

While it is by no means unusual for delays to take place, we do feel it is very important to be communicative and precise about this matter, since many regard it as important to the current situation at the club.

We have previously received a number of offers for the land, some of which we would describe as fanciful and others that did not progress because the groups involved in bidding or attempting to bid for the club broke up.

Currently Parkcrest still owns the land and we can obviously review our options if there is no progress with the current offer.
