Having been restricted to a handful of appearances due to injury, Joe Partington is determined to prove worthy of a starting berth when the new season kicks off in August.
Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Partington is quoted as saying: "Everyone comes back to pre-season with a clean slate and, if I can perform well in pre-season and show some consistency in my performances, then there’s no reason why I can’t be in the team. Getting in the team has been my main target for the past couple of seasons and that will be no different for this season coming. That will be the thing I’ll be working most on".
