Pearce The Pro - Bradders

Manager Lee Bradbury has hailed skipper Jason Pearce with his professional approach to the game, being quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "He has been influential and is an old head on young shoulders. He is a good organiser and he has got experience beyond his years. He is one of those players that could have an eight-inch gash on the back of his head and he would still want to play on – you would have to drag him off the pitch. He has got a great attitude towards the game and he is a winner – that is very important for the position he plays. You need a strong mentality in football because you will have ups and downs, and you need to be able to react accordingly. If you are having a bad time, you need to have the strength and self-belief that you can go on and be a good player. He has got that in abundance and is a very hard-working player that I think, given time, will step up, hopefully with us".
